"Moderately intense sweet cherry fruit merges nicely with a quietly complexing mix of dried herbs and notes of savory spice in the well-composed aromas of this medium-bodied effort, and the wine stays largely in step on the palate while giving a bit more emphasis on fruit. Chief among its virtues are its supple texture and balance, and, if not a powerful, big-impact wine, this is one that displays fine persistence and vitality, and it never lets keen varietal fruit out of its sight."
Description: The 2019 vintage broke well for the usual components of Inchinnan, with Wädenswil, Dijon 114 and 115 providing a dark, earthy profile. The surprise was the inclusion of two barrels of Dijon 667, adding compelling boysenberry character and a juicy acidity to the finish.
