The latest, coldest vintage ever seen in the Willamette Valley, but because of that, the only vintage we have made with a significant % of whole cluster-about 20% average among the fermenters. Complex red fruit and plum, very old school pinot nose, and very supple, complex tannins. If you are focused on bigger, riper robust style pinots, this is probably not a good choice. However, if you fancy something that could masquerade successfully in a flight of Chambertins, you might try a few bottles.

Each block was picked at optimum maturity, with detailed fruit sorting at the winery. Little botrytis or bird damage was found. Excellent stem maturity allowed me to use up to 40% whole clusters in many fermenters. Cooperage was French, using 1/3 new barrels for 16 months.
